Government CPI Found To Be Bogus Number

Few states in the union have an ok unemployment rate while the rest are well above the national average. The majority of the states are also impacted by the economic crisis in the U.S. Could this be because of the discrepancy between the Bureau of Labor and Statistic’s CPI number (cost of living index)? The newly released Chapwood Index sheds a bright light on the problems with the current CPI. Ed Butowsky, wealth manager, financial advisor, and managing partner of Chapwood Investment Management, joins Fox Business’ Varney & Company to examine how some swing states compare to the rest who are impacted by the economic crisis.
